Update BIOS before adding memory modules
Before adding new memory, make sure you update the computer to the latest BIOS.
公 CAUTION: Failure to update the computer to the latest BIOS prior to installing new memory may result in various system problems.
To update BIOS:
1. Navigate to httD：〃www.hMorn/sLiuDQrt.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to find your product.
3. Select Software and Drivers, and then select Go.
4. Expand BIOS.
5. SelectDownload, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
Before removing a memory module, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer;
4. Remove the service door (see Service door on d冲 41 ).
5. Disconnect the battery (see Batt，rv on Dtqn 43).
6. Remove the hard drive (see Hard drive on Dvqe 45).
7. Remove the keyboard (see K-yboard on paqe 53).
8. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on uaqe 55).
9. Remove the system board (see System board on uaqe 66).

The computer includes four memory module sockets. Two memory module sockets are accessible for authorized service providers.
Remove the memory module:
1. Remove the DDR cage shielding.

2.
Spread the retaining tabs (1) on each side of the memory module slot to release the memory module. (The memory module tilts up.)
3.
Remove the memory module (2) by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle.
Reverse this procedure to install a memory module.
冒 NOTE: Memory modules are notched to prevent incorrect installation.

另一面只需要拧下键盘螺丝再撬开键盘就可以了，键盘排线都不需要松吧。。。 手册上这么写的。背面螺丝旁边印了个键盘的就是键盘螺丝，松了就可以把键盘翘下来了。 就是拆键盘嘛 难道到了g5这一代变了？ 本帖最后由 huzhi28251 于 2020-6-22 07:06 编辑

键盘下2个内存插槽要加内存，把键盘拆下基本够了吧，关键下拆机手册学习下。 从来不看拆机手册 hp的机器基本就是拆键盘螺丝 拆光驱 然后从光驱那里有个洞 用铅笔顶一下键盘 键盘酒下来了 r-rj1973 发表于 2020-6-19 09:29
