No issues when used with the normal X61 body. Here's a picture of an X61T shell to show you the part where it can contact. I am guessing X61T and X60T shells are the same here.


Since you asked, I measured the height of this rib on the X61T shell and on the normal X61. It's ~3.5mm high on X61T and ~3.0mm on X61, so enough difference for a problem.

X60t的底壳上有一道棱可能使某个电阻短路，如33#红圈所示。楼主还量了一下这个棱的高度，X61是3mm，X61t是3.5mm，所以将X62主板装到X6xt机身里，很容易导致问题。

有类似想法的兄弟可以对照一下进行处理。

According to Lenovo's maintenance manual, X6x battery is 14.4v and X6xT should be 12.6v, but my X6xT batteries are also 14.4v. Maybe fake, but they work fine with no modification.

I am sure the battery of X61 is not compatible to X61T using X62's motherborad, I have tried before without sucess. The following is my version of X62T using 10 touch point glass, with led back lite and battery modification (almost complete just only wait for final assembling).

Actually is a 10 points touch pad. Originally, I would like to keep the pen input, the cost of control board and programming cost is much higher than the 10 points touch pad(only RMB160.00 with the touch pad and controller board). Therefore I pull out the wacom touch pad and install the 10 points touch pad overlay on the LCD monitor. As the 10 points touch pad is only an usb device, no need to program, it is much more easy to config than Wacom pen pad (just plug it in the usb 2.0 port will work fine). Therefore I make this conversation instead of maintain the pen. The battery is a custom bulit using 8 cells case with 4pcs Panasonic 3100ma 18650 cells, with X61 battery control board. The orginial battery control board is for 2600ma so it need to reprogram to 3100ma for full charge. Other than the touch pad and the battery the modification is almost same with you.

what's the exact model of the touch panel you used? Is that the panel from that HP tablet?
